How to raise the CDT log level

How to raise the CDT log level

There are a couple ways to bump up the logs at the CDT level.

The first is by adding this CDT startup parameter when launching your CDT:

http://CDT address/cdt?arg=loglevel=5

Or you can temporarily bump up the logs while in CDT via the phone settings and then changing the DBG level from Low:

*-- Please note that changing the log level from the CDT either via the URL or via the Phone settings does not permanently change the log level.  It is only valid for that CDT session--*

You can permanently bump up the log level for everyone via your user template or individual user in the SC in the CDT Personalization block via Log Level:

Once you have increased the log level the CDT log folder can be accessed from the local workstation via the start bar by typing:   %TEMP%

CDT log filename format:

ContactCenter_CDT_<YYYYMMDD>.<SESSIONID>.txt

Associated logs:

ContactCenter_Terminal<COMPUTERNAME>_logs.<HHMMSS><YYYYMMDD>.txt
ContactCenter_Proxy_<COMPUTERNAME>_logs.<HHMMSS><YYYYMMDD>.txt
