SP 5 - 7 Prerequisites

The Following are the Prerequisites that are required for BCM SP5 release and above.
Window 2008 Server needs Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update. Install the 32-bit version, ‘vcredist_x86.exe’.

MSDTC must be configured and running. (see the installation guide)

You need to install the
ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 Installer Package from Microsoft. ASP.NET AJAX is a set of technologies to add AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) support to ASP.NET. It consists of a client-side script framework, server controls, and more.

The servers where Chat Portal or Integration Interfaces package is installed (for interfaces such as II, DAI and so on).

 

                ASP.NET must be enabled.

                Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 1, 32–bit version

                Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, full package

                Additionally, the OII interface requires also Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, 32–bit version.

 

NOTE

The specified 32–bit editions must be used also on 64–bit servers.

 

 

 

 

Client workstation Components

NOTE

Make sure that the listed prerequisites are installed before installing the client workstation components, as otherwise the installation will fail. For more information, see Client Workstation Installation Guide.

 

                        Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 operating system.

                        32–bit Microsoft Office package.

                        CDT, Online Monitoring and Reporting require Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, or 10.

                        Convergence requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (full package), Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012, and Microsoft Office 2007/2010: Primary InteropAssmeblies Redistributable

                        Calendar Integration can be applied for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 and 2010. It requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (full package), Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012, Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime, and Microsoft Office 2007/2010: InteropAssmeblies Redistributable

                        IA and SC require Java SE Runtime 7 or 6 (JRE 7 or JRE 6), 32–bit edition.
